Basement Plans
Dear Praying Friend,
Thank you for your ongoing interest in our Parsonage Project. Since our last update, we’ve had several developments.
On the financial side, FBC voted officially to finish the basement portion of the house with a proposed overall move-in date of March 1, 2023. Given our current financial picture, we anticipate a final mortgage of $75-$80K if no further funds arrive. We’re praising the Lord for the amazing provision that allowed us to shoot for full completion and we’re praying that God might somehow allow us to do it all debt-free.
On the construction side, the upstairs interior finish work is flying along. The flooring is 95% down, the kitchen cabinets have been set in place, the bathroom tile is being installed, canned lights are hung, and appliances begin arriving next week. Furthermore, a local electrical company, JC Electric, volunteered a huge team to complete the upstairs finish electrical.
As you remember us, please pray for the following:
- For the safety and effectiveness of a team that is coming mid-January to assist us in completing the basement.
- For a debt-free finish.
- For the energy of FBC’s volunteer work crew – the end is in sight.
